MILTON FRESHMAN WORKS AS SENATE PAGE!
Congratulations to Niraj Jinan, a MHS 9th grader who had the amazing opportunity to work as a Page at the Georgia Senate through Senator Alber's office when the Senate was in session. Niraj received this invitation due to his active involvement in Model United Nations (MUN) since his 6th grade. He has competed in many MUN competitions such as the Georgia Tech MUN, Georgia State MUN and UGA-MUN. Working at the Senate, Niraj had the opportunity to meet with and discuss issues with Senator Albers, other State Senators and Lt. Governor Casey Cagle. Niraj is passionate about international relations and diplomacy. He believes that in today's complicated world, understanding the perspective of other countries has become more important than ever before. He hopes to get more students at Milton interested in MUN as he sees it as a great way to get trained in researching and understanding about various countries and their positions on different issues.
