Real Estate Club in Denver
The real estate clubs spring field trip brought them to Denver Colorado March 2-4. The students were welcomed by local alumni during a reception on Wednesday evening sponsored by alums Mike Cantwell (BA 1972), Mike Komppa (MS 1975) and Tyler Downs (MS 2002) at the Denver Union Station. Over the next two days, the students were guided on tours of eight properties and projects, including tours of Denver Union Station and the Renaissance Hotel Adaptive Re-Use project. CBRE, Avanti, Hines and Zeppelin Development provided tour sites for the group. WREAA sponsored the groups transportation and meals including the Thursday night's dinner with local alumni at Tamayo.
Many thanks to
alumni coordinators, Colorado/Texas Regional
Director Tyler Downs, WREAA Market Representative Eric Komppa, (MBA 2009) and Chad Messner (MBA 2015) for their work in creating an educational and exciting experience for the students!
