Blessings
We held two project blessings in Delmar on March 23rd. Friends of Habitat gathered with the families on the sites of their future homes. We broke ground and prayed for successful builds. Congratulations to our future homeowners, Rebecca and Jose, and James. You're on your way home to Delmar!

Laying Hands
Later that same day, we held another project blessing in Ellendale for Kashanna. Here we are laying hands on the foundation  of her future home as her Pastor, Joseph La Monatagne, leads us in prayer for a safe and successful build. Congratulations, Kashanna! You're headed home to Ellendale soon!

Many of our great volunteers from Collegiate Challenge, NCCC, and AmeriCorps are hosted by St. Phillips Episcopal Church in Laurel. The weekly Wednesday night potlucks are especially appreciated after long weeks of building homes together!

Below our Construction Manager, Jeff Niethammer, and AmeriCorps Service Members, Gary Post and Kyle Dachtler, enjoy soup at one of the potlucks with NCCC Members and Collegiate Challengers.

Assumption College
Thanks also to a great group of volunteers from Assumption College. They also took our Collegiate Challenge. They spent a week helping on our build sites in Seaford. Great job, everyone! We appreciate your service with us!

Thanks also to Dogfish Head for hosting Beer and Benevolence Night on Wednesday, March 23rd in Rehoboth. 10% of all proceeds from the evening benefit Sussex County Habitat. Staff, volunteers, and other Friends of Habitat were in attendance and treated to live music from 3C North as well. A good time was had for a great cause. #ThxDFH
