The 2016-17 Stewardship Campaign has launched!
We are excited to announce another anonymous gift towards the
Campaign Challenge Grant, bringing it to $3,500.
This grant will match
$1 for every $2 given ("one for two") over and above last year's pledge by individual members of the congregation. For example, if you increase your pledge by $200, the Challenge Grant adds another $100, so your $200 additional means a total of $300 new income!
Please be generous to help reach our goal to provide the funds for a full time minister, pay full share of our UUA/district dues, and add needed administrative hours. To reach our goal, we need everyone to consider a significant increase from last year's pledge.
There's still time to sign up for one of the following
cottage meetings; call Ann at 831-359-8096 for more information.

Book Club Tuesday April 19th 7:00PM - Bryans Room
This next meeting will be a bit different. Bring a poem to share, some prose, or a reading from a book that you find particularly to your liking (you may even make a book suggestion from it!) We did this last year and it was a fun change of pace.
We plan a couple months ahead, so bring suggestions if you like.
All are welcome at the Book Club. Questions? Call Linda Monk at 724-4089.

Hope you didn't miss it. Last Friday about thirty of our members attended this event
to raise money to provide showers for the homeless in our mid county area. Over $7,000 was raised by our Fellowship and nine other churches.
Michele provided the chili, Jan did glitter tattoos, Mary made signs, Ginny made chili table cloths, many of us wore our UUFSCC turquoise shirts, and everyone ate a lot of yummy chili, corn bread and desserts.
It was also a wonderful opportunity to meet our church neighbors and to contribute our time/talent/treasure to a worthwhile local social justice cause. Let's do more of this!
