APPLY NOW FOR PGA OF CANADA FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS
In an effort to promote and foster ongoing education for PGA of Canada Members and Candidates for Membership, the PGA of Canada Foundation Scholarship Committee is offering scholarship funding of varying amounts to qualified and selected applicants who are engaged in continuing their education through full-time studies at either the university, community college, or other approved educational facility level.

To be eligible for these scholarships, you must be a PGA of Canada member in good standing. These scholarships are also available to the children and grandchildren of PGA of Canada members. For more information, please click here.
BC GOLF TO OFFER FUNDING FOR COMMUNITY GOLF COACH SEMINAR 
In support of the PGA of Canada's Community Golf Coach Seminar (NCCP), taking place April 9-10, 2016 at Shaughnessy Golf and Country Club, BC Golf is offering funding to current or future golf coaches wanting to gain the skills required to be a community coach at this Seminar.
 
The overall goal of this workshop is to help prepare you to be competent in the skills required by a community coach. The two days will be a great opportunity for to reflect on current understandings of children, junior golf and the environments children want to participate in. EASTER WEEKEND OFFICE CLOSURE
Please note that the PGA of British Columbia administration office will be closed Friday, March 25, 2016 through to Monday, March 28, 2016  in observance of Easter. Regular office hours will resume Tuesday, March 29 at 8:00 am. 
CONGRATULATIONS
Congratulations to Sergej Dronov (Pacific Golf Academy) who clinched first place and the $800 winner's cheque Monday at the Srixon Tour's Major event at Capilano Golf & Country Club with 6-under 66. Finishing just one stroke behind at 67 was Matt Palsenbarg (Northview Golf & Country Club), followed by a 3-way tie for third between Doug Morgan (Richmond Country Club), Bryn Parry (Seymour Creek Golf Centre), and Oliver Tubb (University Golf Club) at 69.

FACT OF THE WEEK 
The PGA of Canada has announced a new initiative called the Hyundai PGA Scramble of Canada which will see over 20,000 amateur golfers attempt to qualify at one of over 200 local qualifying events across the country for an opportunity to play in the main event at a date and location TBA.
