We are delighted to welcome Losang Namgyal Rinpoche as a special guest speaker at the final class of our Discovering BUDDHISM course on Developing Bodhichitta. 

This is a special opportunity, we invite everyone to attend. 

Losang Namgyal Rinpoche lives at Kopan Monastery, the spiritual home base of our organization, in Kathmandu, Nepal. He is a recognized reincarnate lama from the Tamang ethnic group of Nepal, 45 years of age, and fluent in English.

Rinpoche is one of the main leaders of the Buddhist response to the devastating earthquake that happened in Nepal this Spring. His organization, the Namgyal Rinpoche Foundation, has been very effective in getting relevant supplies to the hard-hit areas. 

All of your donations for the August 6th class will go to the Namgyal Rinpoche Foundation.

We expect a full gompa, arrive early to choose seat.

We are taking advantage of the school break during the summer to have some experts from nearby universities speak on their various areas of expertise. All three of these scholars have personal connections with Land of Medicine Buddha and with our organization. That is why they, in particular, have been asked to give these talks. They each have a different area of expertise. Come learn some new things.

Miles of Merit - campaign extended
Mia continues to run laps around the Eight Verses Loop Trail to raise funds for the Stupa Project. The campaign has been extended to to remain open until Mia finishes 108 laps. She is currently just over the half-way mark.
