BikeMaine 2016 Is Sold Out!

We are thrilled to announce that we
have sold out the 2016 ride, nearly six months before the ride kicks off on  September 10. For the first three years of BikeMaine's existence, marketing the ride was a full time job. While we were fortunate to sell out previous years rides, that point was usually reached only weeks in advance of the start.

If you were shutout this year, we are sincerely sorry, registration for the 2017 ride will open on September 21st, 2016. We have purposely grown the ride slowly to ensure a high quality event. We'll continue to increase the ride size by manageable increments in future years. As we grow our base of veteran riders and word spreads that we run a first class ride on the East Coast, we expect that early sellouts will be the norm.

We are proud of our ride and the tremendous response from cyclists throughout the country. We thank you for your interest in BikeMaine!

Bike Support in Host Communities

The Freeman's Crew taking a break from the action on check-in day 2013 in Orono
We are happy to
announce that  Freeman's Bicycle Service  will be joining us as we "Discover the Bold Coast." Owner/Mechanic Josh Freeman & Mechanic Mark Drabik will be with us all week, providing mechanical support in each host community. Josh & Mark have been with us since Day 1 of BikeMaine, providing support in some of the more far flung parts of past years' routes.

As always, you'll pay for parts that your bike may need and tip mechanics for the labor they provide.
