Welcome to the launch of our new monthly newsletter! There is a lot brewing at the studio these days! It's Spring and True Pilates is a great way to tone the body, build strength and flexibility and get in shape!

We are starting the "Did You Know?" series where you'll see tips, exercise demonstrations and information to help you through your fitness journey.  We have also started selling a variety of SHASHi Grip Socks. Not only do they keep your feet from slipping on the foot bar, they protect the feet. They are on sale in the studio this month!  Get yours today. Check out our new Spring Class Schedule!  In addition to our Beginner and Intermediate Mat classes we will be introducing a Trigger Point Foam Rolling class. See below for details!! Give the studio a call or email us to register. Classes start the week of March 28th.

DID YOU KNOW?
When we start working with a new client we usually are asked, "How many Pilates sessions should I do each week?"  It's a great question.

As with anything new,  repetition and consistency help reinforce whatever it is we are trying to do.  The more we practice the more we tend to remember from week to week and the faster we progress. It is how we learn. This is why we suggest at least two sessions per week for the best results. This is also why we recommend that new clients do 5-10 Private sessions before jumping into a Group class. This way we can tailor a workout to meet your body's specific needs and safely teach you how to do the exercises and engage your powerhouse properly.

We get it! Budget and time constraints can factor into the decision. A more cost-effective way to get an extra session in might be to take an additional Group class or two each week. Or why not grab a friend and do a Duet? Check out our new class schedule below.

Our Thursday, 10 a.m. Intermediate Mat class
will continue this Spring with a new 10-week session. Join Heather at 10 a.m. March 28th for the first class.

We are re-instituting our Wednesday evening Beginner/Intermediate mat class. This is a great class for those who have never done Pilates or need a refresher on the basics. We will incorporate intermediate exercises as the class progresses. Join Lisa at 6 p.m. Wednesday April 6th for the first class.

Stay turned for next month's newsletter as we will be introducing a new Trigger Point Foam Rolling class. Learn myofascial compression techniques that will help decrease pain and tightness in the connective tissue surrounding the muscles (fascia), improve range of motion and promote more efficient movement.
