NEW! Summer Movies @ GSP
Summer Film Series:
The Way of the Pilgrim
Friday, June 17 at 6:30 pm
in the Bloom Education Center
Join us on the third Friday of each month during the summer for a free film and discussion. This month, we'll view I Am (2010), the story of a successful Hollywood director, Tom Shadyac, who experienced a life-threatening head injury, and his ensuing journey to try and answer two very basic questions "What's wrong with our world?" and "What can we do about it?"

The film visits some of today's great minds, including authors, poets, religious leaders, and scientists (including Howard Zinn, Lynn McTaggart, Desmond Tutu, Thom Harmann, and Coleman Barks) searching for an answer to these questions.

“Entertaining and enlightening. The I Am documentary is a spark of light and a work of love." —Marianne Williamson, New York Times Best Seller
Our theme this summer is "pilgrimage" and the many ways we might find ourselves on unexpected journeys—journeys that lead us to new ways of seeing and being in the world. Look for a special collaboration with the GSP Spirit Players in August!

But what begins as a flight for survival soon leads to something much more: a startling vision of human destiny... and the birth of a new faith.

Looking ahead, the book selected for July 8 is "The Little Paris Bookshop" by Nina George.
