The Second Street School Living History program returns to Waterford this Spring.  The Waterford Foundation is happy to host 26 classes from schools in Loudoun County.  Thank you to our Volunteers who coordinate this  valuable  program,
especially Miss Nickens!

Tour the Phillips farm using QR Codes

The Waterford Foundation has gone green!  In an attempt to use less paper you can now take the Self-guided tour of the Phillips Farm using your cell phone and scanning QR Codes (Quick Response Codes)

What are QR codes you might ask?

QR codes are a quick way to perform an action with your cell phone.  You scan the code using your phone and it takes you to each of the 15 stops on the self-guided tour.

Do I need an app to take the tour or do I just use my camera to scan the codes?

Visitors will need a QR Code scanner application on their smart Phone.  Just go to your app store and search "free QR code scanner app."  The reader is available at no cost.  After downloading use the scanner at each numbered marker to read interpretive materials.

The Waterford Foundation encourages visitors to take

springtime hike to discover the unique and beautiful wildlife that flourish on the Phillips Farm!
