April 6, 2016
As you have probably already heard, statewide minimum wage has now become a reality.

We at the SJSV Chamber have done our part to vocalize the business community's opposition to this hike, and provided the business perspective this week in follow up articles, like this one in the Silicon Valley Business Journal.

In more lighthearted news, the SJSV Chamber has been nominated for the 2016 Work Local Awards, specifically around the following three categories:
  • Most Fun Place to Work
  • Most Diverse Team
  • Best Employer: Nonprofit
We are proud of these nominations and encourage you to share across your social networks. Get the details here.

Lastly, we've extended the early bird special to Monday, April 11, for exhibitor tables for the Silicon Valley Chamber Business XPO! Don't miss out. Contact Program & Events Manager Charlene Elefante  for more information.

Keep an eye on this weekly eNews for updates and be sure to  log on to our website  or follow us on the social media channel of your choice .

Let's continue to make 2016 a dynamic year for business.
