BAW 2016 A Big Success

If you missed the Business Appreciation Week 2016 Wrap up Celebration at Glenview Mansion, you missed mingling and networking with 75+ local business leaders.

Attendees also heard from Heather Gramm of the  Maryland Department of Commerce , summarizing the new strategic plan for the DOC, including a focus on partnerships with local contacts like REDI.

REDI's own Executive Director, Laurie Boyer also presented a summary of what we learned from our visits this year.

In front of our highest attended BAW wrap up event, Boyer talked about how our 31 ambassadors visited over 50 companies during our "week of appreciation."  Those companies represent over 2,130 employees, 565,850 square feet of commercial space in Rockville, and firms from just a year old to the oldest being in business for 108 years.

You can find this and other information in our BAW 2016 Wrap Up Infographic .
