AMA Pro Flat Track will make its debut at Circuit of The Americas for round three of the season, racing alongside the stars of MotoGP and MotoAmerica as part of the Grand Prix of the Americas weekend.
The event, scheduled for Saturday, April 9, will be the first time in 2016 that the powerful two-cylinder motorcycles will be used in Harley-Davidson GNC1 presented by Vance & Hines competition.

It may seem like a minor point to some, but to Christina Nielsen, the phrase 'Gentleman, raise your trophies' needed a bit of an adjustment during the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring a few weeks ago.
"When the photographers said, 'Gentleman, raise your trophies!' for a picture, well, I almost didn't want to raise my trophy," said Nielsen in the moments following her first IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship victory during the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. "Especially since there were two of us on the podium. How hard would it have been to say, 'Ladies and gentlemen, raise your trophies!'"

The defending two-time tour champion leads all current drivers with three South Boston victories, and is looking for back-to-back wins headed into the April 9 150-lap NASCAR Whelen Southern Modified Tour race. He won last fall's stop at South Boston for his 21st career win.
