PRESENTS THE 34TH ANNUAL VALOR AWARDS

WHAT: The Arlington Chamber of Commerce presents the 34th Annual Valor Awards. Leadership of the Arlington County Police Department, Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management, and Office of the Sheriff submit nominations for Valor Award honorees for those  who have demonstrated exceptional heroic actions in the line of  duty.  Doug Hill,  Vice President, Weather and Chief Meteorologist for ABC7/WJLA-TV , will s erve as Master of Ceremonies for the second year in a row.

WHY: The Valor Awards ceremony honors members of Arlington County's Police Department, Fire Department, Office of Emergency Management and Office of the Sheriff who have exemplified extraordinary heroic actions and exceptional performance in the line of  duty. 
 
WHEN: Tuesday, April 19 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. 
 
WHERE: Fort Myer Officers' Club Koran Room , 214 Jackson Avenue, Fort Myer, VA 22211  

WHO:  Founded in 1924, the Arlington Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary, nonprofit organization of hundreds of businesses and thousands of professional people who are committed to the economic prosperity and civic well being of the Arlington community. The Chamber focuses on ways to make the community a better place to work, live and visit, including recognizing the men and women who contribute to the well-being of Arlington.
