2015 College Recruiting & College Connector Training Day
Penn Legacy has set up a College Recruiting & College Connector Training Day.
This program is open to all players entering their Sophomore, Junior and Senior years. During this session you will see a presentation about the college selection and recruiting process followed by training on the College Soccer Connector system which is the system that Penn Legacy makes available to U15 through U19 players as a tool to assist you in your college search as it relates to soccer. We will also have a presentation on Financial Aid and will have a panel of college coaches and former college players to share their experiences with you.
These sessions are optional but we strongly encourage anyone who is planning on playing soccer at the college level to attend. For the U19 team players who may have already made decisions this may not be a program you need to attend. Also, for most (but not all) U15 players, it may be a little soon to start. However, it is a very good idea to start to understand how the process works.
LOCATION: Millersville University, Student Memorial Center, 21 South George Street, Millersville, Pa , Multi Purpose Room located in South Wing Here is a link to the Campus Map
DATES & TIME: The presentation will be on Sunday, September 20, starting at 2:30pm and will end by 4:30pm.
FORMAT: Our plan is to have a presentation on the college recruiting process followed by training on the College Connector, followed by a discussion on financial aid and a Q & A period which includes the college coaches and college players panel. The training will be done on a computer with a projector so you do not need to bring anything other then something to write with.
The goal is to give attendees a better understanding of the college selection process involving soccer and to also be comfortable to use the College Connector to build their soccer resume and to assist in their college selection process.
