1. Our 2016 THEME is: Experience God . From our salvation experience, we are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17-21). This year, let's "Experience God" in "new" ways that will catapult us to higher heights and a greater urgency to growth toward spiritual maturity. Our foundational Scripture is: 2 Peter 1:3-10.

2. On March 13th, our church hosted our annual National Women's History Month service as we honored all of our beautiful women of the church as well as 17 community leaders. Community outreach is vitally important in the life of the local church as we share God's Word outside of our walls and expose God's love to others. As a result, the Family Crisis Center in Brentwood, MD, has extended an invitation to Pastor Johnson to serve as an honorary member of their board of directors.

From this wonderful day, our church received exposure through a local newspaper: Read article here.
