ONE MONTH TO GO UNTIL TOURNAMENT SEASON BEGINS!
One month from now, the first events of the 2016 RDGA tournament season will get under way - including an RDGA Play Day at Penfield Country Club,
above, on Monday May 9.
THE 2016 RDGA TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
OPENS ON MAY 2 - REGISTER TODAY!
Today is April 1, and you know what that means! That's right - you'd be a
FOOL
not to register for the first events of the 2016 RDGA tournament season, which gets under way in just a little more than a month from now!
This year's RDGA Tournament Schedule has something for all golfers - men, women, seniors and juniors - and the year's first events are just a hint of what's to come.
The 2016 RDGA tournament season opens with two of our popular "Play Day" events in the first two weeks, including the season-opening RDGA Play Day at Irondequoit Country Club on Monday, May 2. That will be followed a week later by our second RDGA Play Day of the year at Penfield Country Club on Monday, May 9. RDGA Play Days give golfers of all abilities - men and women - the opportunity to play some of the area's top country clubs in a tournament setting with full handicaps!
Also scheduled for the first two weeks of the season are our fun annual two-person team events, including the annual RDGA Two-Person Scramble at Greystone Golf Club on Saturday, May 7, and the RDGA Two-Person Four Ball, scheduled for Saturday, May 14 at Eagle Vale Golf Club.
For the low-handicap golfers out there, our full schedule of Championship events - including the annual District Championships for Men and Women, as well as the RDGA Match Play Championship, Senior Championship and Mid-Amateur Championship - are also open for registration.

SCORE POSTING BEGINS IN TWO WEEKS
GET YOUR OFFICIAL USGA-RDGA HANDICAP TODAY!
Indications are that many local golf courses will soon be open for the season - if they aren't open already, with temperatures occasionally reaching the upper 60s - and conditions looking like they are in mid-season form.
But while it's OK to play as much golf as you can, remember that the RDGA handicapping season doesn't become active until April 15 each year - no matter how nice the weather may be. It is important to know that scores made in the Rochester area between now and then should not be posted and will not be accepted for handicap purposes.
That said, there is only two weeks to go until the start of the season, so NOW is the time to update, renew or sign up for your official USGA-RDGA GHIN Handicap!
For more information about your RDGA GHIN handicap - or how to sign up if you don't have one - visit our "How To Get A Handicap" page
HERE.
