Happy Easter!  I hope you and your family enjoyed a beautiful weekend celebrating our Lord and Savior!

In just a couple weeks, we will have a wonderful opportunity to celebrate His beautiful gift of LIFE at the annual  Bishop's Pro-Life Dinner, featuring actor, producer and pro-life advocate, Eduardo Verástegui . By now, hopefully your parish has been promoting the Dinner and purchased its table (or two or three!).
If your parish has not yet purchased its tables, be sure to make your reservations by this Monday, April 4th for the best price.   Reservations may be made online here  or by calling 972-267-LIFE (5433).

Electronic copies of bilingual promotional items for the Dinner are available here, in addition to the posters and yard signs that have been delivered to your parish. If you need anything further, please email
cplc@prolifedallas.org  or call the number above. And be sure to watch and share the video invitation from our Honorary Chairs Alfredo and Irma Duarte  ( en español ).

**After the Bishop's Dinner, we are hosting a one-of-a-kind training event -- Life Principles Academy DFW -- for one day only on Saturday, April 30.  The Academy will be presented by author and national trainer  Camille Pauley  and is intended for anyone in a position to educate others whether in our schools or parishes -- including you!   For more information and registration, visit prolifedallas.org/academy. We would greatly appreciate if you would share this opportunity with fellow educators and leaders in your parish and include the announcement available here in the bulletin.**

Please also mark your calendars for the following additional events in April:
Please note the Mass and Rosary Procession previously scheduled on April 23 has been canceled due to the number of events in April.

We also would appreciate if you could share two wonderful education resources for mothers in need in our diocese:
And be sure to save the date for the next bilingual  Parish Pro-Life Coordinators Meeting  on May 13 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Plano. If you cannot attend, please designate a representative to attend in your place.

Finally, on April 29 we celebrate the feast day of St. Catherine of Siena. During her short life she completely surrendered to Christ. What is most impressive is that she learned to view her surrender to her Lord as a goal to be reached through time.  Catherine lived in an age very different from the ever-changing environment of the 21st century. As we live at such a rapid rate with mobile phones, computers, and such, let us try to slow down the pace and dedicate our life to Christ Jesus. Let us take the time to ask Him to show us His plan for our lives and most of all let us show our gratitude to Him for each day of life that He gives us.

God bless,

David Carr
CPLC Director of Parish Coordination

P.S. We have been apprised of a new pro-life film that is in pre-production called "Remember Her Always." The producers of the film are looking for church support. We can't speak to the merit of this film at this time, but if you are interested, more information is available here.
