Julie Weatherston, Director of Communications for the For Our Babies campaign initiative, gave an update on For Our Babies and introduced the first state affiliate: For Our Babies New York. Early Care & Learning Council, the FOBNY representative Karen Harkness, shared the story of how New York got involved in the campaign. She shared stats on participation and an example of advocacy in action. Participants discussed and shared their ideas for the future including ideas for advocacy in their communities.
