Service Opportunities Coming Next Week
There are several developing opportunities to serve people over the next several weeks. We have had long term relationships with some of these people and some we have just met by God's providence! We will schedule specific work days for each of these projects including work days on our Service Sundays that we intentionally have twice per month on the 2nd and 4th Sundays. Below is a listing of the projects.
1. Sandy- a widow who lost her husband to cancer last year. We would like to help her clean her yard, haul off debris and trim her yard bushes.
2. George- a father and husband who severely injured his feet three years ago. He needs help roofing his home. We have several Ekklesia men making plans to assist with this project.
3. Food bank food drive- Ekklesia will again hold a food drive at the Albertsons on Sedgwick Rd. on Sunday, April 10th following our morning abbreviated worship gathering.

 Children Learning and Telling the
Story of Jesus
Easter wasn't just about eggs and bunnies. It was about telling the story of Jesus. Children and families are coming to Ekklesia and they need to hear the story!  The story was told last Sunday by all our kids who want to know more about Jesus. They acted, shared and even shaped the story so that all their parents and family would know why Easter was important. Jesus is alive! We were so moved by the image of our children acting out their parts. Thank you to all who helped with the experience and especially Trent Herbert for directing the group and shaping the story telling. That experience will be remembered by each one for many years to come.

Many New Families at the Easter Picnic
The Easter picnic in Rotary Park on Saturday brought out many new families to connect with the Ekklesia community. It was a wonderful day filled with food, lots of fun, too many eggs, pinatas to bash and even a game of kick ball to end it all. We had many families and loads of kids to make the day a great success.

Let the egg hunt begin at this year's Easter picnic

Thank you
Thank you to so many loving and committed friends who have supported our work over these last four years. It was four years ago that a small group of families began meeting in homes and started the vision of Ekklesia. Thank you to all our supporters for your steadfast love and commitment.
