Betty Hebble helps fellow pupils cross the street safely outside Chelsea Heights Elementary School. The school crossing guards receive training from St. Paul Police before they begin their assignments. One pupil said most drivers are cooperative, "but people who don't live here don't always follow our directions." Speaking of safety: The Como Family Safety Fair takes place tonight -- April 1 -- at North Dale Community Center. The Safety Fair begins at 5:30; a free movie, "Shaun the Sheep," follows at 7 p.m. |

District 10 is one of Saint Paul's 17 citizen participation districts. The District 10 Como Community Council is a nonprofit organization, governed by a Board of Directors who are elected by members of the community. The Council's mission is to inform, educate, and connect the neighborhood to increase community pride and confidence.
