Unity 4Kids Preschool Receives National Accreditation
HUF's Unity 4Kids Preschool received the National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA) designation from the National Accreditation Council and Commission. Unity 4Kids is one of 20 NECPA certified preschools in Broward and 1 of 5 serving the South Broward region. To learn more, click here.

Youth Visit Florida Universities
70+ students from our Unity 4Teens program attended the 2016 College Tour this month. During the three day trip students visited Florida Gulf Coast University, University of Florida, Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University, University of South Florida, University of Central Florida, Florida State University and Bethune-Cookman University. A new group of clients recently graduated from our Center for Working Families (CWF) Customer Service Skills Training (CSST) program. In 2015, 85% of HUF's CSST grads secured employment.

Congratulations to Virginia Basurto-Cielo (pictured with HUF President/CEO Josie Bacallao) and Lucienne Brutus (with Luis Felipe Pinzon) on their Ten-Year HUF Anniversary. Announced recently was also Felipe's promotion to Senior Vice President of Strategy & Programs. HUF has a terrific team and we are grateful for colleagues like Virginia, Lucienne and Felipe who share HUF's values and mission.
