MANILA, Philippines - Today, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency, in cooperation with the Philippine Government Procurement Policy Board's Technical Support Office (GPPB-TSO), kicked off a three-day procurement workshop under USTDA's Global Procurement Initiative: Understanding Best Value (GPI).

 
USTDA Supports Refinery Modernization in India  
NEW DELHI, India - Today, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency awarded a grant to the Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a state-owned refiner in India. The grant funds a feasibility study that will recommend technologies to improve yields at BPCL's Mumbai refinery while also meeting increasingly stringent quality and environmental standards for transportation fuels.

 
USTDA Supports Enhanced Passenger Screening at India's Airports
NEW DELHI, India - In advance of the upcoming U.S.-India Strategic & Commercial Dialogue, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency awarded a grant to the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) to support a body scanner system pilot project at Delhi International Airport.

 
USTDA Deputy Director Ebong Announces New Power Africa Project at AGOA Forum
LIBREVILLE, Gabon - This week, U.S. Trade and Development Agency Deputy Director Enoh T. Ebong participated in the 2015 U.S.-Sub-Saharan Africa Trade and Economic Cooperation Forum, known as the African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) Forum.

September 14 - 25, 2015: Nigeria & Kenya Healthcare Technologies Reverse Trade Mission
USTDA will be hosting a delegation of senior officials from the Nigerian and Kenyan healthcare sectors for the Healthcare Technologies Reverse Trade Mission (RTM). The RTM is designed to introduce delegates to U.S. healthcare equipment suppliers and service providers seeking to do business in Nigeria and Kenya.

September 18, 2015: Nigeria & Kenya Healthcare Business Briefing for U.S. Companies  USTDA will be hosting a Business Briefing on Friday, September 18 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to introduce delegates from the Nigeria & Kenya Healthcare Technologies Reverse Trade Mission to U.S. healthcare companies. The Business Briefing will provide an opportunity for U.S. company representatives to meet with healthcare decision makers in Nigeria and Kenya, and to learn firsthand about the rapidly expanding demand for healthcare equipment and services in these markets.
 
November 3-5, 2015: U.S.-India Aviation Summit, Bangalore, India - In collaboration with the U.S.-India Aviation Cooperation Program and the Government of India, USTDA is hosting the  5th U.S.-India Aviation Summit . This event will convene senior representatives from the public and private sectors in both countries to identify opportunities to advance the robust aviation partnership between India and the United States.
