HONORED to have been part of HATCH LatAm in Panama in February
I was honored and delighted to be invited to attend the first Latin American HATCH Experience in Panama, at Kali Yalu, with a band of 125 creatives from the Americas. We convened, camped and co-created on projects to "HATCH a better world." It was a special experience; a summit of peers which reaffirmed our work here, and is leading to many exciting new relationships with extraordinary partners in the US and internationally.

These articles in  La Estrella, and in La Prensa describe our team project to install Rising Tides on the San Blas (Guna) Islands to show that they will be gone due to sea level rise in 20 years. Many p rojects and partnerships are percolating - #BecauseofHATCH

Yarrow Kraner, the visionary who built HATCH, points the way as we cruise around the mouth of the Panama Canal - where the Americas join!

Presenting at BSA Foundation Pin-Ups
I am delighted to have been invited to present some of our work which has been supported by past BFA grants at this year's BSA Foundation Pin-Ups: Architecture and Design in Your Neighborhood. Come see what else they are supporting and meet some of their grant recipients.

The BFA  Grant Project Pin-Up returns this year with a new opportunity to explore some of the projects that the BSA Foundation has brought to life in communities around Greater Boston. The BSA Foundation was created by the Boston Society of Architects/AIA to enhance public awareness of the built environment and the processes that shape it. The BSA Foundation Grant Project Pin-Up will connect BSA members with educators, artists and other BSA Foundation grant recipients to discuss recent successes and future options.

Artful Business: 50 Lessons from Creative Geniuses
by writer, media guru, and producer Greg Stone JUST CAME OUT!! I am delighted and honored to have been one of the artists featured in this wonderfully original look at using art  to spur creative thinking for business.

"Featuring a dazzling collection of color masterpieces, Artful Business gives you novel tools to spark your imagination. You can turn to any page at random if you are struggling to find creative solutions.  Here you will discover that Michelangelo and a modern marketing executive, or Botticelli and a brand manager, have a lot in common.  In each chapter you will see sumptuous art and stimulating ideas on facing pages, with probing questions to help you see in a way that will yield new perspectives on strategy or messaging."   Find it on Amazon.

G reg Stone, president of Stone Communications, is a media strategist and independent producer in the Boston area. Before founding his company, he was a writer at Time Inc. in New York and a TV reporter in Minneapolis, Boston, and on PBS. This book is based on decades of creative endeavors. Greg graduated with honors from Harvard College and earned master's degrees from Columbia University in journalism and business.  Visit GregStone.com for more details.
