Horse Bowl
Currituck County was well represented on March 5 at NC State University for the State 4-H Horse Bowl competition. The State 4-H Horse Bowl is a quiz contest made up of questions pertaining to horse topics. Pairs of teams compete against each other responding to questions asked by a contest moderator. Currituck was undefeated in 8 rounds and walked away with the State Championship in the mixed division. High scoring individual, Jamie Gillespie will advance on to the national competition which takes place at the Eastern National 4-H Horse Roundup, to be held in Louisville Kentucky this fall.
