$11,500 of  $20,000 Funded

Be part of Ryan's Team! A community coming together to help Ryan
return to music, health, school and a life that he desires to live to the fullest.

On Sunday, July 26th, The Candyman hosted 'Ryan's Hope Benefit" to help the Pierce family raise funds toward a $20,000 treatment desperately needed for 16-year old, Ryan. We called on the community for help.

The Pierce family had previously raised $4,000 from their GoFundMe page along with contributions from family and friends. Combined with the contributions made prior to the event, the total amount raised 'post event' was $11,500. "We were shocked! We thought we would be doing good to raise 4 or 5 thousand," stated Rand Cook, The Candyman Co-owner.

"We're still in fundraising mode," says Cindy Cook, Rand's wife and The Candyman partner. "We have some tricks up our sleeve to fully fund treatment for Ryan." Read more...

I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.

Watch a recent and touching interview as Avril Lavigne tearfully shares her nightmarish experience battling Lyme Disease that has put her life, and world tour, on hold. It's a very similar experience to Ryan's. For Ms. Lavigne, she was able to be diagnosed and treated within months. Ryan has been waiting 9 years to be helped.
