We are excited about the events scheduled in the next few months at CSLI Annapolis.
There are a full slate of events on the calendar below. You will be receiving invitations to events that are open to you.
MOST IMPORTANT: AS OF FEBRUARY 1st, WE WILL BE ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR OUR FELLOWS PROGRAM FOR THE 2016-2017 FELLOWS CLASS.

Apologetics Seminar Rescheduled:
We had to reschedule the Apologetics Seminar due to icy streets and poor parking options. The seminar is rescheduled for March 11 & 12.
Pastor Gerry Miller will be our speaker for a two-part Apologetics Seminar on "Why Should I Trust the Scriptures?"

Apologetics Seminar Part II| Saturday, March 12| 9-11am| Brice House (pastry/coffee will be served)
First Annual CSLI Annapolis Banquet:
Dr. John Lennox from Oxford University will be the speaker at our first Annapolis Annual Banquet on Saturday, Apr 16, 6:30pm at the Doubletree Hotel. Invitations will go out for this event in the next 30 days.
Fellows Information for 2016-2017:
It takes 6-8 hours/week to accomplish the program.
Each month you:
* read about 300 pages of selecting readings;
* meet with a mentor;
* meet with 2-4 other men/women in a small group;
* have a group Fellows meeting (1st Sat morning of month Oct - Jun)
You must attend a 2 day retreat Sept 9/10 (Fri/Sat after Labor Day weekend) at Osprey Point, MD.
Cost is $350 for books and $350 for the retreat. (approximate, may be less, not more)
Applications are due April 30, 2016. Interviews and Fellows selections are made by May 15, 2016.
Orientation is Thursday, May 26, 6PM. (Brice House at the corner of East Street and Prince George St.)
New class begins readings June 1, 2015.

Continuing "8 Traits of a Disciple":
In October's newsletter, we offered an introduction to "The 8 Traits of a Disciple of Jesus", and committed to cover all eight traits over the next eight newsletters. I use these traits to disciple someone who wants to know and follow Jesus better. The first and last of the eight newsletters contain the introduction and conclusion respectively along with the 1st and 8th trait. If you find this useful, you are welcome to have the "Eight Traits" in their entirety for your discipleship purposes.
Trait 5. A follower of Jesus walks in the Spirit. In John 7:37-39, Jesus says that "the Spirit will flow from within" a disciple. What does this look like, to walk in the Spirit, to have the Spirit flow from within?
In Gal 5:25 (New Living Translation), Paul says: "Let us follow the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives." Do you ask the Spirit's will in all that you do? Are there things you do that you know the Spirit would not approve?
Jesus modeled for his followers how to live in the Spirit. Two words exemplified his life: reliance and obedience. To experience the power and fruits of the Holy Spirit, we, his children, must live daily, by faith, in complete reliance and exact obedience to the whisper of the Holy Spirit. (I Kings 19:12)
