Show the Love for Kids
United Way of Hampshire County is teaming up with our neighboring United Way chapters for a Text To Give campaign to support kids in our region. We are rolling out the campaign today and focusing on Valentine's Day as our Text to Give Day!

Donations will be accepted throughout the month of February.

"We couldn't think of a better way to show the love for kids in our local communities, " said UWHC Executive Director, James Ayres. "We often spend money on flowers, candy, and expensive dinners for our loved ones for Valentine's Day, so why not send a quick text to donate $10 to your local United Way and programs that support kids."

It couldn't be easier...to give $10, just text the word HEART to 20222. A one-time donation of $10 will be added to your mobile phone bill or deducted from your prepaid balance. Donors must be age 18+ and all donations must be authorized by the account holder. By texting YES, the donation is authorized. Click here for our Privacy Policy.

Thank you for making a difference in the lives children in our community!

A message from our Campaign Co-Chairs

Now that we have raised over two-thirds of our campaign goal, we want to say thank you! Thank you to all of you who invest in the potential of others. We want great things for our community, just like you. And every year, Hampshire County rallies to create change and inspire hope.

We would like to give special thanks to the thousands of employees who participate in their company's United Way campaign...together, we are making a difference in the lives of one in six Hampshire County residents! Through payroll deduction, close to 4000 Hampshire County workers are reminded every pay day that they are part of something extraordinary. They are helping their neighbors live their best possible lives. Here's to #givingeveryfriday!

DIFFERENCE!

As you read this, United Way of Hampshire County and a team of more than thirty volunteers are preparing to evaluate proposals for our Children, Youth & Their Families program area.

Our funding supports programs that nurture the healthy growth and development of children and youth, with an emphasis on approaches that are preventative, address needs early, and engage whole families.  By providing three years of funding to approved applicants, United Way of Hampshire County offers a stable source of support, buoyed by ongoing collaboration and assistance with capacity building, to ensure that children and youth have a strong foundation for a bright future.
