Thanks to Carolyn McKnight for opening my last newsletter.  She was selected at random to receive a free copy of The Polar Bear Express so she can be a COOL reader!
I'm appearing at a local bookshop, Booktenders Secret Garden, tomorrow (6/10/15) in Doylestown, PA. at 7:00 for a poetry reading.  I'll be sharing some of my favorite poems and some poems from The Polar Bear Express, where the merkids learn haiku, acrostic, free verse, and cinquain.  Page nine of the teaching unit has poetry cards to share.
