The holiday season is upon us.  We've altered our studio schedule to offer you chances for respite and rejuvenation - and our instructors too! - over the next month.

Pilates is on hiatus for December, but we have two great yoga classes on M/W evenings for a few weeks as well as Sunrise Flow on T/Th mornings.  Combined with our regular weekly line-up, we've got you covered from early morning, throughout the day, and into the evening!

Our Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) focus this month is backs - a perfect fit for all the heavy-lifting we do this time of year.

It's still warm enough for our last Yoga in the Park of the season.  And, we have a very special Yoga Nidra class for a little mid-month rest.

Yamuna Body Rolling: Save Your Back!
Back Pain is the number one complaint for people seeking bodywork and exercise assistance. This class is designed to release the "stuck" feeling we all get from sitting too long at a computer, too long in our cars, too long on the phone, standing too long on our feet, or any other of those activities we do that over-work our stabilizing back muscles! We'll work on the lower, middle and upper back and you'll feel like you've had a chiropractic adjustment and a massage plus worked your abdominal muscles.

Yoga Nidra Pre-Holiday Class
Yoga Nidra is a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental and emotional relaxation. The term yoga nidra is derived from two Sanskrit words, yoga meaning union or one-pointed awareness, and nidra, translating to sleep. Not sleep as we think of it, but rather a conscious sleep.
 
This special pre-holiday practice with AshleyAnne will include some active yoga asanas at the beginning as well as meditation before our nidra savasana.
