It's comin' on Christmas... readers note, I'll be taking my usual sabbatical during December from C4P Animal Rescue newsletter -- last publication Sunday, December 6th. Watch for fun and exciting news re: C4P Animal Rescue for 2016. We're (Gervais Vignola and I) taking the newsletter to an entirely new level, and launching a brand new internet video series showcasing best practices in animal rescue and highlighting the GREAT work being done in this community, and the individuals doing the work, called The Rescue Diaries. Stay tuned!

Here's a special treat - a link to Roger Hodgson (fmr. Supertramp) playing a beautiful piece in Barcelona two years ago, called Death and A Zoo. It asks the question if Death or a Zoo were your only options, which would you choose? (Thanks Ellen M. for sharing - so beautiful!)

ANIMALS & RESCUERS IN NEED
Louis Pot-Bellied Pig:   Louis is looking for his forever home. He is a 2.5 year old neutered male, looking for a nice cosy stall in a barn with plenty of safe turnout area. Please email ralphysretreat@gmail.com or call 519.586.8083 for an application if you can accommodate Louis.

T ransport needed for Panzer & Maple pot-bellied pigs:   due to a legitimate) change in family circumstances, we need to move 2 larger female pot-belly pigs. We are looking for help with affordable transport from Monkland, Ontario to Elmira Ontario -- about a 5 1/2 hour trip. The girls will need a small trailer or something similar to travel in. they will not fit in crates. Due to their size, it is likely not realistic to do the journey in "legs". Please email ralphysretreat@gmail.com or call 519.586.8083

ADVOCACY ACTION ALERTS

Who's going to be kind enough to take a few minutes and support the Canadian Coalition for Farm animals advocacy efforts for chickens?  Nothing's gonna change, unless WE change it!
