THANKS TO ALL OF YOU, THE 2015 RIDE HAS OFFICIALLY REACHED HALF A MILLION DOLLARS!!

THAT'S AN INCREDIBLE NUMBER.....
BUT WE'RE NOT DONE YET!

We set our fundraising goal extremely high this year, at $750,000 because being "the largest Team Fox fundraiser for MJFF in the entire country" is not a title we are ready to relinquish AND every dollar gets us closer to a cure!

It is our sincere hope that most of us have a little more in us.  That if we are to look ourselves in the mirror, we know we haven't done our very best...not yet.  We know we have one more email in us, or one more letter.  Maybe we didn't get the same response we did last year, so we quit trying.  But we can't quit.  That's not an option for the 42 of our cyclists who have PD and rode right along side of us.  Or the dozens who can no longer ride but came out to help in any way they can just to say thanks to the rest of us for having their backs.  Or the ones at home or gone before us, the ones we rode for.  They are your friends and your family and they need a cure that won't come without you!

We also know that some of you have in fact done your very best...you raised thousands of dollars, you earned your full VIP Kit, you've recruited every friend you have and now, you are officially tapped out.  You did the heavy lifting and you need to celebrate your accomplishments, knowing you gave your all.

So we turned to you for inspiration....to help the rest of us
dig a little deeper, reach a little higher, try just a little bit harder until we all know we have done everything we can and the rest is out of our hands.

Here are some of the inspirational ways shared by others that just might get us to our goal...even our ultimate goal of a cure!

  • Do the math.  We need $250,000 to reach our goal. That is a huge number, until you break it down by 814 cyclists.  Can you push yourself to focus on just one piece...$312.50?
  • If friends, coworker, clients didn't respond to your big ask, can you get a bunch of them to 'buy you lunch" by donating just the $10 that would cost?
  • Can you give up one dinner out a month, one lunch a week, one coffee, and make your own donation?
  • Put a challenge out on Facebook that you need 13 friends to donate $24.04 to get you to $312.50 and if you meet that goal you will meet a challenge of your own...shave your head, make a video of yourself singing in the rain, or any other unique thing you can come up with.  Be sure to include a link to your donation page...AND share your ideas with US on Facebook!
  • Hold a New England Parkinson's Ride night at your local restaurant. Many like Pizzeria Uno,  Texas Road House, and Margaritas will do it just for the asking and 10 or 15% of the money taken in that night gets donated to the ride.  We have yet to see a check for less than $100 and many were for several hundred dollars.
  • Have a painting party though a company like drinkablearts.com . They will donate $10 of every entry fee toward the cause and what a fun way to do it!
  • Have a yard sale, bake sale, lemonade sale, or even a watch sale (go SwissTime4aCure!) and indicate the proceeds will go to MJFF.
  • Request a free booth at a craft fair and sell your wares noting that the proceeds will support a cure for Parkinson's Disease.
  • Get creative, involve your kids, involve your friends.

REMEMBER, DONATIONS WILL ACCEPTED THROUGH MID DECEMBER!

WE CAN DO IT... IF WE ALL DO OUR PART!

WHAT A GLORIOUS DAY WE HAD...
