Annual Meeting  
Make your reservations now for the Partnership's Annual Meeting Thursday, February 25, at General Morgan Inn & Conference Center from 5 to 7 p.m.! Twenty-four area businesses have committed to sponsor the event which will provide a social evening for guests to market their businesses. The Champion of the Year and the Business of the Year awards will be presented during a brief program. The cost is $30 per person. March Member Emailing
Space is available in the March Member Emailing! The deadline to submit a one-page PDF file is Friday, March 4, and the cost is $100. This is a great opportunity to market your products or businesses. Contact Lori Dowell at the Partnership for more information.
Legislative Breakfast
Summers Taylor will join the Partnership in presenting the annual Legislative Breakfast Friday, March 11, from 8 to 10 a.m. at the General Morgan Inn & Conference Center. Make plans now to take advantage of the opportunity to speak with Senator Steve Southerland and Representatives David Hawk and Jeremy Faison and to hear their comments on pending legislation. Great American Cleanup
Keep Greene Beautiful will be joining Keep America Beautiful affiliates across the country March 1-May 31 to observe the Great American Cleanup.  During this observance, everyone is encouraged to clean up litter from roads and creeks, remove graffiti, initiate beautification and community improvement projects, and plant trees and flowers.  Sponsorships at $250 are available.  Contact Jennifer Wilder at 638-4111 or email [email protected] to schedule a cleanup or for sponsorship information.  Free trash bags are available for participating individuals.

15th Annual Tennessee Environmental Conference
Keep Greene Beautiful is assisting in the planning of the 15th Annual Tennessee Environmental Conference that will be held at Meadowview Conference Center in Kingsport March 15-16. Numerous topics covering environment, industry and energy, health, and innovation and sustainability will be discussed. The conference is open to the public at a cost of $250 for those who register before February 27, $350 for those who register after that date. To register go to www.tnenvironment.com. Google Workshop For Small Business Owners
The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at ETSU will host a Google workshop for small business owners Tuesday, February 23, from 9 a.m. to noon at the ETSU Innovation Lab in Johnson City. The cost will be $49 per person and registration is required. The workshop is designed to give small business owners a better understanding of what Google wants from websites and tips and tricks to boost online presence. Statewide Broadband Assessment
The State of Tennessee is working on a statewide internet broadband assessment and is requesting that each citizen take a short online survey. The information provided will assist the state in identifying low service areas and finding potential solutions to inaccessibility. Those who would like to complete the survey should visit
'Main Street Mardi Gras Ball'
Main Street: Greeneville will host its 2016 "Main Street Mardi Gras Ball" Saturday, February 27, from 7 to 11 p.m. at Link Hills Country Club. Sterl the Pearl will be the guest DJ and hors d'oeuvres, a jambalaya bar, desserts and beverages will be provided. March Of Dimes To Host 'March For Babies'
Each year, nearly one-half million babies are born prematurely in the U.S., approximately 50,000 of them in Tennessee. To raise awareness and important funding to help these infants or those born with birth defects, the March of Dimes is hosting the "March for Babies" May 1 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital.
