The Georgia War Veterans' Home, located in Milledgeville, is a assisted living home dedicated to men and women who are from Georgia and who have seen combat during their military service.  The G.R.I.T.S. (Gals Rejoicing in the Savior) ministry of Church 213 will be providing a Valentine Party for these men and women tomorrow, February 13 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. For the past 3 years our teen girls have met periodically with women in the church to learn how to prepare a dish and learn some of God's word while in the kitchen.  We are looking for host cooks who would be willing to have 2-3 girls in their home on Saturday, March 5 from 10:30 a.m. until noon.  If you are willing to help, please contact Nancy at [email protected].

In order to prepare our Church for the mission that God has given us, Prayer Walking around the Church 213 property will begin this week.  There will be a sign up sheet at the Information Counter and we encourage you to sign up for an allotted time to walk (or drive) around the property and future building site.  There will be bullet points for you to note specific prayer requests from the building team, requests that are pertinent to the building process that week.  Make no mistake about it...the enemy DOES NOT want this building to take place...certainly not without problems.
