Worship with us this Sunday!
Join us this Sunday for Traditional Worship at 9:30am or Informal Worship at 11am as we celebrate the first Sunday of Lent - our journey to discipleship that takes us to Holy Week and Easter. The Gospel Lesson has Jesus full of the Spirit heading into a place of struggle with the Devil in the wilderness. Where did Jesus get this courage? How did he stand up to challenge? What is the source of his courage?

We will spend this season thinking through how we approach the work that the Holy gives us to do. We want our lives to mirror and echo the mission and ministry of Jesus. As God's Spirit guides us into living more Christ-like lives, we will focus on being people of courage, vulnerability, patience, flexibility, receptivity, advocacy and generosity.

[If the weather and/or something else kept you from being with us at our Ash Wednesday Worship, we will have ashes available for you this Sunday.]

Joke
Dolphins are so smart that within a few hours of captivity, they can train people to stand on the very edge of the pool and throw them fish. -unknown
Inspiration
The rose doesn't have to propagate its perfume. It just gives it forth, and people are drawn to it. Live it, and people will come to see the source of your power. -unknown
