Cantus to perform May 12 at Cathedral Basilica as part of the 2016 Romanza Festivale of the Arts
Tickets go on sale Sunday, Feb. 14
St. Augustine, FL - Cantus, a nationally known vocal ensemble from Minnesota, features the sounds of nine male singers. The group will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 12 in the Cathedral Basilica, 38 Cathedral Place, downtown St. Augustine. Tickets go on sale Valentine's Day, Sunday, Feb. 14 at www.romanzafestivale.com/the-four-loves/
 
The title of the program is The Four Loves. Tickets are $30 for adults, $10 for students with I.D., $5 for children 12 and younger (must be accompanied by adult).

Hailed as "the premier men's vocal ensemble in the United States" (Fanfare) and winner of the prestigious Margaret Hillis Award for Choral Excellence from Chorus America, Cantus enjoys an active schedule of national tour dates, subscription concerts in its home of Minneapolis/St. Paul, educational outreach programs and recordings.
 
Cantus is acknowledged around the world for their programmatic versatility, artistic excellence and charismatic personality.

Members include Zachary Colby, tenor; Adam Fieldson, tenor; Chris Foss, bass; Matthew Goinz, baritone; Samuel Green, bass; Paul John Rudoi, tenor; Paul Scholtz, tenor; Joe Shadday, tenor; and Matthew Tintes, baritone.
