February Newsletter: What's New at CCC?
Cat Care Clinic in the
Wisconsin Film Festival?
Yes, it's true!  In November we had the pleasure of being chosen by two delightful UW Comm Arts students for their documentary project.  They spent the day at CCC and got a good education in feline veterinary medicine!  One of the student's films has been selected to be shown in the Wisconsin Film Festival!  What an honor for us and an achievement for this aspiring film maker.
The documentary focuses on a sweet kitty, Clara, that came in that day for a dental procedure which included oral surgery to remove one tooth. Hence, we are excited to make this announcement in National Pet Dental Month!

Clara and Dr. Bunger...will they be ready for the big screen in April!?
Join Our Arthritis Study Before it's Over!
We will be accepting a few more participants for our study through the end of February.  The biggest hesitation most pet owners have had is the cat collar, but none of the cats in the study have been bothered by it.  If you are considering the study, please contact us ASAP, we would love to have you join.  PLUS the incentives can't be beat!
$200 incentive plus much more:
It's National Pet Dental Health Month
It's now National Pet Dental Health Month and since dental health is such a focus at CCC, we've extended it to THREE months!

To celebrate, January through March we are raffling off a FREE YEAR supply of Royal Canin Dental Diet (over $400 value) to all cats who have a dental procedure each month.

Billy and Bibi are the January winners of our free year of Royal Canin Dental Diet.  Congrats to their mom Lisa!

Cat Care in the Community
CCC is proud to partner with Wisconsin Companion Animal Resources, Education, and Social Services (WisCARES), an innovative and unified approach to providing holistic health care to Dane County's disadvantaged residents and their pets.

Our boarding facility is a safe, peaceful place where cats unable to be with their temporarily displaced owners can receive care and love. This is a great collaboration of the UW School of Veterinary Medicine, the School of Social Work, and other wonderful social service organizations in Dane County. We are honored to be a part of it.
Welcome Abbiey to Cat Care Clinic!
A new face and voice has been around the clinic...meet Abbiey.  Abbiey worked closely with several of our staff members years ago at another veterinary clinic in town, then moved to Nebraska.  When we heard she was back in town and interested in working at CCC, we jumped at the chance.  She's absolutely great with cats, and has two of her own, Gulliver and Jasper.  They'll soon be living in the tiny house which Abbiey built!

Feedback is always appreciated.  Please let us know what we can do for you or your cat.  As always, thank you for letting us be a part of their care!

Sincerely,

Kat Luther, DVM
Carrie Bunger, DVM
Ilona Rodan, DVM, DABVP
