Edmonton FCSS invites non-profit organizations to submit a letter of intent for preventive social service programs. Funding is being targeted for enhancements to currently funded programs and new programs that address identified gaps in preventive services. Applicants can apply for up to a maximum of $200,000 in program funding. The purpose of the letter of intent is to ensure that funding requests meet the eligibility criteria and address the FCSS Guiding Principles and Priorities.

The Community Investment Program Celebrations Grant is intended to assist, through limited financial support, with the production of one-day celebratory events within the City of Edmonton. Applicants must be the organization producing the one-day event, have not-for-profit status and be incorporated for at least one year prior to applying for a celebrations grant. Refer to the application guidelines for event eligibility. March 1 is the application deadline.

Edmonton Seniors Slo-Pitch Association is accepting registrations for the 2016 season on a first come, first served basis. If you are interested in playing slo-pitch, you will find their league a great way to have fun and exercise and even start some new friendships.  Men and women slo-pitch players are welcome and the league features three 50+ divisions from Competitive to Recreational and also a 45+ Competitive Division. 

All games are played at Airways Park (113 Street & 113 Avenue) and the diamonds are considered the best slo-pitch diamonds in Edmonton. League play is May thru to September, Monday to Thursday - 2 games per week.
