Colorado Hub Events

BEST Robotics Competitions will provide your school - your students and faculty - with a unique opportunity to partner with higher education and industry to:

1.  Engage students in activities that demystify engineering and make it fun;
2.  Prepare students for the rigors of higher education engineering programs;
3. Equip students with the technological skills need for tomorrow's workforce.

BEST Robotics, Inc. has 48 hubs in 16 states with 3 hubs (+ 1 new hub starting later this spring) in Colorado.

  • Rocky Mountain BEST - Colorado schools
  • Front Range BEST - southern and western Denver Metro Area Schools including Douglas County Schools and El Paso County and Teller County Schools in preparation for upcomng Pikes Peak BEST
  • SoCo BEST @TrinidadState - southern Colorado Schools
  • Golden Plains BEST - northeastern Colorado Schools

BEST hubs are volunteer, non-profit organizations with the mission to inspire students to pursue careers in engineering, science and technology.

Each of the Colorado Hubs will provide a Teacher/Mentor training in the summer. Rocky Mountain BEST and Front Range BEST will hold a joint 2-day training session 21-22 July. SoCo BEST training is scheduled for Trinidad State Junior College with the first day on 1 June and a second day for robot build to be scheduled for later in July or early August.  This training event will provide a detailed view of BEST, information about how to mentor a team and how to build a robot, advice from teachers and mentors, and even a mini-robot competition.  This training is for teachers and mentors ONLY, not students.  Sign up your school soon to ensure you are able to participate in these training events.
