Inaugural PH 350 Course Seeks More Students
Public Health 305 will introduce you to the major issues of environmental health science with a focus on the United States, though global health issues are considered as well. We will examine what those issues are, what determines them, and how they can be altered. Learn more here.
New UROP/IGR/Detroit Initiative Independent Study Course
Pat Gurin, IGR Research Director, is offering independent study credits to students interested in enrolling in "Leadership for Impact: Community Engagement and Social Justice" on Wednesdays 1-3 pm. Interested students must have participated in UROP, IGR, and/or the Detroit Initiative. Course Numbers: Psych 326, UC 325, AC 388, or AC 389.
Newly Approved Context Cluster CASC Course: ORGSTUDY 203: Activism
Students will learn about the history of social movements in the US and other nations, as well as transnational social movements. They will study theories of social movement participation, strategies, tactics, and dynamics and apply these theories to historical, current, and hypothetical examples of activism. Students will also learn techniques for planning, implementing, and evaluating activist events.
Scholarship Opportunity

Call for Proposals: Davis Projects for Peace
The Ginsberg Center for Community Service is calling for proposals for summer-long projects designed and implemented by undergraduate students passionate about peace in their communities and around the globe.
