Announcements

Inaugural PH 350 Course Seeks More Students

Public Health 305 will introduce you to the major issues of environmental health science with a focus on the United States, though global health issues are considered as well. We will examine what those issues are, what determines them, and how they can be altered.  Learn more information here.

 

SAPAC Volunteer Training

Volunteer Training will provide participants with in-depth knowledge of issues related to sexual and intimate partner violence as well as specific skills that will be developed throughout your time volunteering with SAPAC. This training is a requirement if you are interested in volunteering at SAPAC. This opportunity is only available during winter term.

Wallenberg Scholarship Opportunity

The Wallenberg Fellowship will be awarded each spring to a graduating senior of exceptional promise and accomplishment who is committed to serving the public good. The fellowship provides $25,000 to carry out an independent project of learning or exploration anywhere in the world during the year after graduation. 

 

The deadline for proposals for LSA students is Monday, January 6 by noon.  Click here for more information about application procedures.

 

Merrimack College's 1-Year M.Ed. Community Engagement Fellowship

Merrimack College's Community Engagement Fellowship is a full-tuition, 36-credit graduate fellowship leading to a Master's degree in one year. This program focuses on diversity, social justice, community development, and organizational change. Students gain a broad understanding of civic engagement in the nonprofit sector and pursue careers as nonprofit leaders, social change activists, and leaders in the national service learning movement. SSW Quiet Study Space

B798 & B780 have been set aside for MSW, PhD & CASC students only. From December 12 - 20, these spaces have been designated as a quiet study place during finals/exam week. 

Please be considerate of others when using the space.

MDetroit Center Connector Feedback Survey

The MDetroit Center Connector shuttle is wrapping up its fall pilot program after providing more than 100 trips between Detroit and Ann Arbor since October 5, 2013. Folks who rode the shuttle should fill out this brief feedback form to let the staff know about your experience.
