This Week at Pellissippi State
Thank you for #GivingTuesday support
Thank you!

Your generous gifts are helping fulfill dreams, impact lives and change the future.

Pellissippi State Community College and the Pellissippi State Foundation extend their sincerest thanks for the many generous donations given on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 1.

The Foundation raised $11,825 on Giving Tuesday.

One hundred percent of those funds will go straight to scholarships and other funds that aid students. Many of the scholarships will help students who, without the Foundation's financial support, might not be able to attend college.

"Our many generous donors -- plus everyone who helped spread the word about Giving Tuesday in person, through email and on social media -- have helped change the lives of many, many students," says Peggy Wilson, vice president of College Advancement and executive director of the Pellissippi State Foundation.  "Thank you to everyone who supported Pellissippi State students. Your generosity has made a huge difference."
Reminder: holiday schedule
Remember, the winter holidays are fast approaching. Keep in mind the College's closing schedule for December:

  • Thursday, Dec. 24 -- Administrative closing day
  • Friday, Dec. 25 -- Christmas Day; College closed
  • Monday, Dec. 28 -- Thursday, Dec. 31 - Administrative closing days

After the holidays, the College will reopen on Jan. 4.
