"It is God who sends the winds, and they stir the clouds and spread them in the sky however He wills, and He makes them fragments so you see the rain emerge from within them. And when He causes it to fall upon whom He wills of His servants, immediately they rejoice" ~ Qur'an 30:48

A STORY OF $100
The story of $100 donation is an example of exceptional generosity by a group of people who are least expected of such a gesture. They happen to earn an average of $0.25 (yes, 25 CENTS per hour), yet they pooled their hard earned cents and dollars and donated $100 for the San Bernardino victims fund. They are a group of Muslims, incarcerated!
The Shura Council presented a check of $36,794 to the leadership of the Coachella Mosque for their rebuilding fund. The Coachella Mosque was a victim of Islamophobia by a misguided Californian who had firebombed the Mosque as his expression of hate toward Islam.
We are grateful to all of the donors and appreciate the volunteer leadership of the Coachella Mosque for carrying on the services with grace and humility.
