 Legacy Circle Expands

The Park Foundation is honored to add Judy Currier and Arleen Richman the Legacy Circle of donors.

Judy Currier
left a special legacy gift in her will to benefit Green Spring Gardens which was near and dear to her heart.

Arleen Richman
bequeathed a generous gift to support birding programs at
 Huntley Meadows Park.

By including their favorite park in their estate plans these women have made a significant difference in the counties natural resources.  In the near future, they will be added to the Legacy Circle listed on the Foundation website.

The Legacy Circle honors donors who have included or pledged to include the Fairfax County Park Foundation in their planned and estate giving.  Gifts may be made in the form of bequests, charitable gift annuities, real estate, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, life insurance or retirement accounts.

It is timely that the Park Foundation acknowledges the 1970 gift of real estate by Michael and Belinda Straight  that created Green Spring Gardens in the Mason District of Fairfax County. Click the following link to read the obituary of Dr. Belinda Straight who died on December 5, 2015 at the age of 95  Read more on the FCPA  Our Stories and Perspectives blog.
