January on the Rooftop - Week 5
Proverbs 4:23, "Above everything else, guard your heart. Everything you do comes from it." Also, Philippians 4:8, "Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable - if anything is excellent or praiseworthy - think about such things. " This week, we used these scriptures to focus on having self-control by using God's words to guide our thoughts. The truth of scripture can help us show self-control during tough times or frustrating moments!

Spend some quality time with your Crosstown Kid this week by reading God's word together and responding to the scripture by completing the activities on the GodTime card.
Make sure kids bring their bibles to church! We love seeing them reading their own copy of God's word.
Thank you for bringing in hoodies and light jackets for our Happy Hoodies campaign! Next month, we'll be creating Easter cards during small group times for shut-ins, pantry patrons, and special needs adults.
