Prairie on State
Home of the notorious " Wine Downs", Prairie on State keeps the entertainment coming the first and third Friday of every month. Live music, delicious wine and don't forget to BYO-Nosh! That's right, they encourage a picnic style dining experience. Pick from several downtown menu options!

Wine tastings will be featured from 12-5 on Valentine's day! Pick-up some delicious chocolates from The Confectionary (across the street) and the team at Prairie On State will expertly pair your sweets with a wide variety of Illinois produced wines.  
Nat's on Maple
Are you in the market for trendy comfort food during Valentines weekend? Look no further! Nat's on Maple is unveiling an eclectic new menu for your pleasure.

Taxco Restaurant
On Valentine's Day Chef Rudy Galindo and owner of Taxco Restaurant, Jesus Romero, will be serving a five course meal paired with rare exotic tequilas. The cost is $40 per person and reservations are required.

On a budget? No problemo! Taxco will also feature a special Valentine's food and cocktail menu, no reservations necessary.

Pub 64 is the newest addition to our downtown district. Enjoy your food while taking in the panoramic view of historic Illinois photos that drape the walls. The menu is distinctive, approachable and delicious. They specialize in giving a modern, fresh flare to any dish.
