Budgeting for Impact

Today, the White House released the President's FY 2017 Budget, which includes a more than 30% increase for USTDA as compared to this year.  It includes funding to expand USTDA's Global Procurement Initiative (GPI), launched in 2013 to help maximize development outcomes in emerging markets while simultaneously increasing business opportunities for U.S. firms. The Agency's FY17 budget would lead to an estimated $5.97 billion in U.S. exports, which in turn would support approximately 34,600 jobs across the country.  As we look ahead, the Agency stands ready to answer the President's call to help secure our nation's economic future!
