Learn to Cook Salmon at The Growling Rabbit / Build a Bowl at Centered Studios
Come learn about sustainable seafood choices and how to cook wild Alaskan salmon with the fishermen-owners of Sitka Salmon Shares, Captains Marsh, Chelsea and Joe catch their fish in Southeast Alaska using low environmental-impact methods, primarily with hook-and-line, and they handle each fish individually to ensure the highest possible quality.

The Rogers Park Chamber of Commerce
 is partnering with Equality Illinois, the City of Chicago Treasurer's Office and MB Financial Bank to host a free Financial Education Workshop, one of City Treasurer Kurt Summers #77PROUD financial education resource fairs.
 
Join us at the Loyola Park Field House (1230 W. Greenleaf Ave.) on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from 6:30 pm-8:45 pm. All are welcome; food will be provided.  The sessions and resource fair are free and open to the public. 

An area bank will be presenting on two different topics. The first session will cover basic banking and how to save money from 7:00 pm-7:45 pm.  The second session is from 8:00 pm-8:45 pm and will address student, small business, and home loans.
