No, because you know, as well as the bank knows, that your dollar is the same value as what the merchant wants in change for their product within the USA.
However, if you are using your card to purchase something outside of the USA you would then want to know what the difference is between your dollars on your card and the value of the Euro (if the item you are purchasing outside the USA is in Euros.).

Hello Everyone,
I wanted to let everyone know that due to the very busy winter season in Bavaria this year I must take a break from these news letters. This will be my last news letter until early March. Meine Hubby and I talked about it and agreed it would be best to take 3 weeks off from this effort.
This is a very good time to do this since it is hard to find the time anyhow with all our guests arriving everyday. We also wait in anticipation for the needed laws and the restructuring of the CBI. We can see also during this period how the battle to retake the city of Mosul and its surrounding region will turn out.

Economist: Iraqi government solutions to the economic crisis is far from ground
08/02/2016 10:51 | Direction Press / special He said economic expert on behalf of Jamil today that the Iraqi government does not have a clear monetary policy to the economic crisis faced by the country and most distant from the ground solutions do not meet the ambition.
Jamil In an interview with "direction Press" said that Iraq supports about 98% from the sale of oil for their task of issuing a foreign currency brought into the country and this is a serious mistake in monetary policy for the failure to diversify sources of income and thus exposed the government to a severe economic crisis in the case of low global oil prices.

Gold is up $41 and climbing today
If we see more than a 400 point drop in DOW, we may be seeing this RV today..
So if the Dow hits higher than -400 like -425 then we are seeing the correction of the stock market and possibly big moves in the foreign markets... need to see if this lasts... today.
Its looking like the market is leveling out. now at -276 on the Dow
Remember take it as my IMO only.. Time will Tell!!
As long as there are Central banks, paper money and the means to create a false financial wall. there will be fiat currency. As long as there is someone out there that controls the gold, oil then there is false hope in a system that will fail.
