The World Affairs Councils of America is delighted to invite Member Council executives, staff, and board members to the 2016 
Spring Leadership Meeting . As those of you who have attended past meetings in Atlanta, San Francisco, New York, Chicago and Denver know, the program provides a unique, concentrated opportunity to network with fellow Council leaders and discuss best practices, covered in a variety of workshops.

The World Affairs Council of Greater Houston will host this year's meeting, starting with a Welcome Reception on Thursday evening, March 17, at the home of Dr. Stephen Kramer, CEO of Fabre-Kramer Pharmaceuticals and a Houston Council board member. A guest speaker on the global oil market will be announced soon.

February's Cover to Cover  will feature  innovation expert  Alec Ross  on his new book  The Industries of the Future,   on Thursday,  February 11, at 2:00-2:30 PM ET.  




Ross served for four years as Senior Adviser for Innovation to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He is currently a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at Johns Hopkins University and serves as an adviser to investors, corporations, and government leaders.
